How much do customers really care about two-day shipping?

Amazon revolutionized the online shopping experience with vast production selection, low costs, and fast shipping.
Many of us are spoiled by the two-day shipping promised by Amazon Prime and the like. However, as corporations respond to existing and future desires of shoppers, it is important to note that not everybody wants same-day shipping. A 2019 UPS study found that 51 percent of online shoppers would consider cheaper but slower shipping options. Costs are a big factor, but that is not the rest of the picture either.
